Inpatient Treatment

Treatment is simply more comfortable in our inpatient recovery center. Situated in Westhampton Beach, Seafield Center has everything you need to make you feel at home. You’ll have access to exercise equipment, buffet-styled meals, onsite support groups and a number of other amenities.

Contraband Policy

For the safety and wellbeing of all clients, Seafield maintains a strict contraband policy. All personal belongings are reviewed upon admission. Items that are not permitted will be secured and returned at discharge, unless otherwise noted.

PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE:

  • Cellular phones

  • Cameras and all electronic devices (including tablets, smart watches, MP3 players, alarm clocks, etc.)

  • Unsealed toiletries, makeup, or laundry detergent (laundry pods are preferred)

  • Aerosol cans, perfumes, colognes, aftershave, essential oils

  • Any item containing alcohol as one of the first three ingredients

  • Nail polish and remover, hair dye, chemical hair remover, hair clippers

  • Food, drinks, or gifts of food

  • Tobacco products including loose tobacco, e-cigarettes, cigars, pipes, rolling papers

  • Cannabis in any form

  • Weapons, sharp objects, lighters, matches, fireworks, or explosives

  • Games, gambling items, musical instruments, sports equipment

  • Books or magazines not approved by staff

  • Materials depicting pornography, substance use, or violence

  • Inappropriate or revealing clothing

  • Stuffed animals, pillows, blankets, potted plants, umbrellas

  • Metal hangers, felt-tip markers, knitting needles (crochet hooks are permitted)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • All medications, including over-the-counter medications, are secured upon arrival and dispensed only by the medical team

  • No outside food gifts are permitted

  • Flowers are allowed only when delivered directly from a florist

  • Sealed cigarettes and sealed, spitless nicotine pouches are permitted

  • Confiscated toiletries will be returned upon discharge

WHAT SETS SEAFIELD APART?

Seafield Center is a 100-bed inpatient drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation facility for men and women over the age of 16. 

Men_Women

Men and women are placed in gender specific groups to address their specific needs.

Group

Dual-focused groups are available for clients who may be experiencing depression, anxiety & other co-occurring disorders. Counselors with special training in this area are assigned.

Group 2

Specialty groups including LGBT, Eating Disorders, and Domestic Violence Victims often arise & meet as the needs of the community presents.

Seafield emphasizes the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous & Narcotics Anonymous. 12 Step Recovery meetings are held on site daily.

Psychiatric Evaluation

Our Medical Director is Board Certified in Psychiatry & Addiction Medicine. Psychiatric evaluations are available.
